Mental Health Skill Building Program

Our Mental Health Skill Building (MHSB) program serves adults 21 and over (18-21) in an independent setting) with dual diagnoses, long-term mental health concerns, and cognitive deficiencies that affect their daily living and stability within the community.   We strive to help our clients achieve and maintain independence and a sense of fulfillment while training them how to manage their mental health needs better. 

Program Information

Process

Following a referral, our licensed staff will conduct an initial clinical assessment and help the client develop a customized treatment plan complete with goals and objectives to meet their needs.  Our Mental Health Specialists (QMPH, QPPMH) will meet with the clients in their homes and provide intensive counseling sessions weekly to address individual goals.  

Qualifications for MHSB Program

  • Adults 21 years old & over

  • Medicaid Insurance

  • Psychiatric hospitalization

  • Receiving medication

  • (ages 18-21) Working towards Independence

  • Need on-going support & counseling

  • Willing to commit to 3-15 hours per week.
